Replica autorizzata della maglia prodotta da De Marchi nel 1967 per il team Mainetti. Realizzata in lana Merino e fibra acrilica per maggiore facilità di lavaggio, ha il  caratteristico colletto a camicia con bottoni in madreperla e cinque tasche (due anteriori e tre posteriori). Ricami tipo Cornely. Vestibilità asciutta. Interamente realizzata artigianalmente in Italia con materiali italiani.

In 1966, local Italian hanger manufacturer and cycling fan Mario Mainetti started a pro cycling team to promote his company and struck gold with 21 year old sprinter Marino Basso, who won a stage in the Giro d'Italia and was second twice.

In '67, Basso got even faster and made his Tour de France debut for Gruppo Sportivo Mainetti, winning two stages there. Big-time outfit Molteni snapped up Basso for '68 and Sig. Mainetti folded G.S. Mainetti to focus on the newly constructed Veldromo Mainetti in Castelgomberto, Italy.

Our Marino Basso Mainetti Jersey is an authentic reproduction of the jersey originally made by De Marchi in 1966-67.

We use a itch-free Merino wool blend for easy care, classic mother-of-pearl buttoned pockets with reinforced stitching, logos in Cornely-type hand cranked embroidery and doubled cuffs.

Handmade in Italy by De Marchi, like back in the day.
